Ultra Adventure Hat

First day wearing this hat and I caught my first bass ever and I caught a ton of fish. Luckily I scored this hat brand new at my local thriftstore for $1.50.

Best hat ever. Worn yr-round for sun protection. Hoods underneath in winter by loosening rear strap. Neck strap keeps hat in place through any winds. Purchased size L/XL because of adjustable straps. Great for gardening, driving, bird watching, simply exploring nature.

This is my 5th Sunday afternoon hat I've bought in the past 10 years. I still have them all. You can't buy a better hat!

I bought this hat for a trip to Utah mighty 5 national parks. It was upper 80s when we were there and this hat was perfect! It is very lightweight and kept me protected from the sun while not making me warm. I loved how packable it is, also. It’s also really cute!

I cannot live without this hat!  I’ve been wearing them daily for over 8 years.  I have two.  One is for dirty/rugged activities like backpacking, sailing and gardening. The other is for clean/cute activities like walking, sightseeing, or going to the farmer’s market. The foldability is great for traveling, honking, or even just to stick it in a pocket when you go inside, like at a restaurant.  The chin strap is great, and the glasses holder works perfectly. Tip:  switch your sunglasses and reading glasses from nose to brim when you’re outside and need to look at your phone or a map and compass..

My ULTRA ADVENTURE HAT is perfect for pickleball or a day at the beach.  It packs easily and is much more attractive than my old model

This hat has been with me on two Caminos now (over 500 miles) and have kept me protected perfectly-the hat even works for light rain! Love it and highly recommend

An 'Ultra' adventure hat would keep the regular adventure hat brim-width and cape dimensions, and add a folding brim (excellent improvement, it makes it packable) as well as other features. (I have to wear my glasses all the time, so the sunglasses holder feature is useless to me.) This version has a narrower brim and cape and doesn't provide adequate sun protection. The adventure hat has great sun protection, but isn't easily packable (brim creases when rolled). Disappointed, I will be looking elsewhere for an effective sun hat.

When I discovered this hat, I was most enthusiastic about being able to fold it up to a nice flat size AND not damage it permanently. As someone who enjoys hiking vacations out of state and the country, this was an essential feature. As a 69 year old, I like to keep the UV rays from damaging my facial skin; the wide brim and not overly long neck cape accomplish this. The sunglasses holder is a nice feature for those who do wear them. I own several of these and would love to see it in khaki or beige shades. I recommend this hat to everyone in my 3+ hiking groups (once, we had a head count of 7 of us wearing the pumice colored style!) and to all customers at the outdoor store at which I am employed.

I run very long distances, often in the blazing sun. I had a hat that shaded my face and neck, but it also blocked my peripheral vision, which is not so good when trail running. This hat shades brilliantly, and lets me see everything around me, too! I love it!

Love this hat ! I’ve always hesitated getting a hat this style cause it’s “not cute” BUT to my surprise it’s actually super cute on ! It’s light weight, great quality , exact color as pictured and folds and fits in my backpack easily , great coverage (which i desperately need) . The only thing i wish it had was a ponytail hole.

Buyer Beware. I bought a hat to match my son, both were named "Sand" though the adult one is much darker. It seemed lighter in the pictures, and I figured it may have been different material that made it a bit darker in the picture. However, it's even darker than the pictures! It fits like a dream, and was looking forward to wearing it, but sadly I'll return to get the lighter color once it become available.

I'm a 5'10 female with an average size head and the small/med fit great with room for a ponytail as another reviewer mentioned.

Folds flat for packing, adjustable, chin cord to stop it blowing off, vented, glass holder & excellent cover and protection. Used on land & at sea in South America but ideal for any sunny, high UV destinations. Not the cheapest but well made & designed.

Amazing! The fit is great and the Art work is sick! Every where I go people ask about the hat and compliment.

Love the hat but I think the advertised size range is way off. It fits my 3 year old and I hope we get another year of use. I would think 5 years old is max.
