What a great hat! It’s functional and cute! Who knew a boonie could be cute? The fact that it’s reversible and adjustable is great as well. Love my hat!

Love it! Bought it for my daughter then immediately stole it from her. So comfortable. Light and flexible. I like the reversible option. Will be my go to summer hat for years.

I bought this hat to replace one purchased from Kickstarter; it had lots of bells and whistles (not literally of course) but was stiffer and heavier than I needed or wanted. This Clear Creek Boonie is perfect! It packs down to nothing, springs right back into shape, is so lightweight and soft I barely feel it, looks cute, came in my favorite shade of blue, and has SPF. What else could a girl ask for?

Hawai’i vacation in two weeks so I haven’t broke it in yet! I bought one for my daughter a couple of years ago and she loves it, great sun protection and dries quickly. A must have if you want to protect yourself from the sun!!

I love this hat! I bought it for travel and it fits the bill. Because the chin straps are removable, I can wear the hat walking around Madrid and not look too dorky! It does cinch up to keep the hat from blowing off your head without the straps. Of course, it also works great on the trail. It has a pretty wide brim and is reversible, with pleasing light colors and light-weight fabric. All of that, and it can be easily folded and stashed in a purse or backpack when not in use. This style is a winner!

I actually really like this hat. I have a 54cm head, but they only had a medium as the smallest size.
I have to tighten the bungee ALL the way to stay on my head comfortably, which makes it feel like it will break. It also makes the hat look a bit scrunchy.
I am glad it has a chine strap.
But if I loosen it and just use the chin strap, it feels so loose on my head and it's uncomfortable. Like it shifts around and looks baggy.

The only hats they make in SMALL are not attractive to me. I Also ordered the Latitude hat, so I am in the same situation with that hat.
I will keep them, because it is VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to find anyone who makes hats small enough that are also cute. I have been looking for weeks.

The hats otherwise seem well made and have decent sized brims. They are both super cute. I want to give them 5 stars.

PLEASE MAKE SMALL SIZED HATS! I would buy so many hats. Especially the hats with no bungee!!

I have some very pretty sun hats that I wear all summer. But I can’t wear them on bright, blustery spring days because they don’t have chin straps. I have the Adventure hat that is great for gardening but not what I wanted for walking the dog in the neighborhood. The Clear Creek Boonie meets my needs. The brim is large enough to shade my face but not too large. It looks good with my short hair and it also looks good with long sleeves on cooler days.

Great for my trip to Europe. Not as much face protection as I expected but am satisfied.

Not sure why, but this brim flops around in the breeze here on the Oregon coast. Quite annoying. It's the same width as another Sunday Afternoon sun hat which I love so it's quite disappointing as it's not providing the sun coverage I was hoping for.

Great for sun and rain protection. Looks good on, I got the green which is neutral enough to go with everything I wear. This is a great hat for hiking or doing whatever outside. And a great packer!! Just roll it up.

I love this hat! It shields head/face from the sun and keeps me cool. I have 2 and love the fact you can turn it inside out to change the color. I plan on getting more when new colors are available.

Exactly what I needed! I have one hat that is similar to this, but I am wearing it in every single outdoor photo so I wanted another for variety. Then THIS hat came along that’s reversible!! I love it! It is exactly what I was looking for, but better!

I love that it has a removable strap. It’s there when I need it, but on a calm weather day I can remove it. With my other hat I would tuck the strap up inside, which was a bit annoying. This is the perfect hat for me, and now that it is reversible I have a little more variety.

The Clear Creek hat is easy to pack for out of state adventure. I liked the color combination and that it was reversible. The chin strap helped in windy situations. And especially the sun blocking coverage. I have a baseball style hat with neck fabric coverage that I use for mowing. I have enjoyed your hats for a long time. Easy to hand wash and dry. I bought this hat specifically to store in my car, because one never knows when you might have to stand out in the sun for an extended period of time. I especially love rhis design by Sunday Afternoons, because it's lightweight, washable and quickly air-dryable (comes out looking like new!), the brim is wide enough to shade most of your face, the chin strap keeps it from blowing off, and while walking through a store I can either "store" the hat on my back by lengthening the chin strap adjustment or roll it up and put it in my purse. I never want to be without a Sunday Afternoons hat!

This hat is very light and packable. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Comfy and cute

Looks great & is so practical. Love that it is reversible. Having a tie is essential for windy days and for easy on/off during the day. The brim keeps my glasses dry when rainy.

Well made and reversible. It blocks direct sunlight with the wide brim and the material is thick enough that my head does not burn.

I liked it so much, I bought a second one. The brim is not rigid or as wide as some of the others, but this is perfect for me. I can shove it in a daypack, wash it, reverse it and it always looks good. I mostly wear it for yard work, hiking, and walking my dog. I like to keep one in the car and it has even come in handy on rainy days. Sometimes the brim will flip up if it’s a little windy, but it doesn’t bother me because I rarely need a stiff brim.

Love my Clear Creek Boonie-fits great (sizing info. was helpful), protects my tender scalp from the sun, and brim provides shade for face and neck. Light, cool, and well made. Thanks Sundays!

I bought this in a last minute fit of "oh god, what have I done?" the night before I launched on a 29 day trip down the colorado river. The brim was stiff enough to keep the water from going down my neck when I ducked my head in rapids, and the hat survived the marathon trip none the worse for wear. It kept my glasses dry during the rain we got on that trip, too. Now it's my go-to hat for kayaking and the only time it has failed me was when I was paddling into 25 mile per hour winds. The brim pretty much gave up and stayed plastered to my forehead for that paddle but in milder conditions, it has fared well. Two years of that kind of abuse and it still looks pretty much the same as when I bought it.

The brim is wide enough to shade my face and neck, though I do wish it was a little wider for angled sun. That said, I'm not sure it would be stiff enough without wire if it was wider, and I'd rather have it be crushable. It's a great hat. Looks decent, stays on, and has taken all the abuse I've thrown at it with no noticeable wear and tear.
