Kids' Play Hat

I have bought this hat (through REI but still) in every size since my child was an infant. The camping dog pattern is the most delightful thing I've ever seen. Please consider making an adult print for thirty year old women.

The brim holds up, keeps the sun off, and the hat is soft and lightweight. I love it so.

My son has worn this hat for 5 years still looks great. Love it so much we tell all our friends and just bought on for baby sister. Love the cinch on the back, it lets you order a larger size so the kiddo can wear it longer. Love it!

My son loves this hat! The material is thin and breathable, and even on hot days I haven’t noticed his head getting sweaty. The print is super cool, we got the birds of prey one because my boy is really into birds of all sorts and he is so excited to wear it. I like that the clip is a breakaway style—that takes away some worries about his little neck getting hurt while he’s running in the woods. My only complaint is that the clip is really small and a little hard to buckle under a wiggly toddler’s chin (you have to get it just right and make sure the chin strap isn’t twisted), but it’s an easy tradeoff for how great the other features on this hat are!

This is the only hat the truly holds up to being wet! Ocean, lake or river, these hats hold their shape when wet. They keep my kids cool and they actually stay on my kids heads.

I love that the hat is adjustable. It fits well. My grands will wear them. Most importantly the brim does not fall in their face when wet. It’s great for the beach and pool.

Purchased 2 of these hats. Size medium fits my big headed, fresh 2-year-old well and the size large fits my 5-year-old well. Unfortunately the strap on the large ripped off after just a couple of uses so, one star.

Dear Sunday Afternoons, I LOVE my hat I got it back when I was 1 and now i'm 10 and it has held up amazingly. I can't imagine life without it! it was purple when it was new and now it's almost white thats how much sun it's protected me from I highly recommend it.and if I could I would give it a rating of one thousand billion million!

My one-year-old granddaughter loves this hat! When she got it, she put it on her head and toddled around. She refused to take it off. Her mom and I like how it provides great shade and protects her neck from the sun, plus it’s lightweight. The break-away chin strap is a plus. Love the choices of colors, we went with one of the bright pink/purple ones.

I feel good about my kid wearing it- and bonus- he actually likes wearing it too! So no battles over being safe in the sun! The color is gorgeous too. We use it for Forest School as well as general play

I have a hat for my 3 kids bought the first one when my son was 2 he’s 5.5 and it still fits him! I couldn’t be happier with how comfortable the hats are for the kids and the protection they get from it. My 9 month old keeps it on!

Currently on a beach vacation in very hot, sunny weather with my 16 month old. We brought 3 hats for her and this is the only one she’ll keep on! Incredibly glad to have bought this hat.

This hat is so perfect for my little girl! She’s an average size 8mo and the hat fits great cinched down in the back. There’s plenty of room for her to grow into the hat so it’ll work for years to come which is perfect! It doesn’t look overly big right now either which is what I was worried about. I tried it on my small 3yo and it got him too.
Customer service was great and super helpful when I emailed asking about sizing!

I got this for my 13 month old son in size small. The fit is perfect, coverage amazing, it's super light and comfortable, the strap keeps it on his head, and he doesn't mind it at all. I got this on sale for 14 dollars, and have had it a week..used it everyday. I hand wash and hang dry and it dries very quickly. This hat is worth it!!
