Sun Guide Cap

This is the best had I've ever owned. I bought my first one for a cross-country bike tour in 2013 and have had one every since. The brim is the perfect length to keep sun off of your nose and face. The curtains keep the sun off your ears and neck no matter what the angle of the sun is, and the snap keeps it closed if you are riding or it is windy. I love that I can take it off, flip the curtains inside the cap, and put it back on if I just want the cap. Also, when you flip the curtains into the cap, you can fold the cap onto the brim, then fold the brim along the middle, and the whole thing will fit in a pocket! The best travel/hiking/biking cap I've ever owned. I just wish I could buy extra curtains; if you lose them you'll need to buy another cap, I think.

Product arrived with the button torn through the flap. Images attached. I contacted support, but this does not bode well for the product's QA or durability.

This hat has been great for walking and driving around town since the sun is so hot in Southern Arizona. However, after only three months the back stitches came out so the neck cape no longer stays on, which defeats the whole purpose of this hat for me. I can sew it back together, but it's disappointing that the quality doesn't last up to its promise.

Have worn all over the Indo-Pacific islands. Excellent sun block, and also super-convenient - can fold and fit in your packet. Simple quick-tightening when the wind picks up. Stays on even in speeding boats. And fits my large head! Highly recommended for adventure travel in the sun.

I've had three of these over the last 2-3 years. I actually like the hat but... problem is that the folding seam wears out in 6-8 mos. Seam tape gets a hole and fabric wears through. This is an expensive hat for such a short lifetime. I'm unable to attach photos from my iMac, FYI.

I was gifted with the sun guide cap for my expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro and I was so impressed by the comfort level of the cap. I wore it with the neck cape and without and both times it is so soft and comfortable to wear and so easy to unjust the sizing. Even on windy days with the neck cape, the cap is secure. Very impressed!!

I really wanted to like it, but the button got off the first time I wore it.

The SG Hat is as described and fits perfectly. Why four, not five stars/ I plan to use this on Safari next month. That's when a final grade can be given.

I really like the design of these hats, but they seem a little smaller than my previous version.
I am replacing the same hat I previously had.

My spouse has been using one of your sun cap’s with neck flap and just loves it, cool, comfortable with plenty of protection for neck and shoulders. Based on her recommendation I purchased one of your Sun Guide caps and have been wearing it pretty much every day since. It’s Lightweight, cool, comfortable and now my main go to hat when I head out into our gardens. Very happy with my purchase.

Love the material. Sooo soft and it keeps me cool. Love the versatility, with the snap to bring the flaps to the back. It shades well that way and gives me a good view around me on my walks. I added a sunglass to the brim.

The drape that hangs over the ears should be make of heavier material or
better might be just a heavier hem along the bottom. As is it blows off and up even while hiking with no wind. Sure it can be buttoned down but I do not like to do this all the time and only when needed - with this cap it is needed all the time. And the cap overall is a bit much with the headband, other stuff etc. - seems like less would be better.

Perfect for fly fishing!

Love this cap! It totally protects my head, face, and neck from the sun. It’s versatile in that it can be worn fully shielded or snapped back to just protect the back of my neck. I highly recommend this cap! I bought two of them!

Gets how and some of the attachments/flaps are cumbersome.
