Chief Operating Officer
Sunday Afternoons is currently searching for a strategic leader for the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be a key member of the executive team at Sunday Afternoons. An effective candidate will play a lead role in overseeing and implementing Sunday Afternoons’ strategic imperatives, including operations plans and business processes, key systems to support our evolving business, quality and compliance, go-to-market strategies and rollouts, and sales plans, product plans, and overall growth strategies. The successful candidate will lead multiple business functions to deliver results in alignment with Sunday Afternoons’ strategic and operational goals. The position will partner with and lead several teams to execute on key operations and processes, including leadership of Operations, Product Design and Development, and Sales, with strong collaboration with Marketing, Finance and Accounting, and Information Technology. The position will work closely with the CEO and CFO to deliver strategic results that align with overall corporate objectives. The successful candidate will be a strategic, thoughtful, proven leader capable of teaming with leadership and key colleagues, performing gap analyses, and working across a highly successful business operation to refine and improve overall performance and results.
The Senior Designer is responsible for developing ideas and executing product designs which embody the Company’s vision for creative, technical, and sustainable headwear. The position must creatively meet customers’ needs for comfort, style, functionality, and protection from the elements. Collaborating with Merchandising, Product Development, Sales, and Marketing, the Senior Designer is responsible for leading and seeking innovation that is meaningful, inspirational, and brand appropriate. The position fosters a culture of creativity, design excellence, collaboration, and accountability while executing the Company’s strategies and goals.
