The Product Developer is a key contributor to the development, coordination, and production of styles at Sunday Afternoons, including overseeing the creation and execution of the bill of materials (BOM) and technical data package (TDP) specifications. Key responsibilities include maintaining development priorities and calendars, participation in pre-costing of new styles, confirming FOB targets, and maintaining profit margins.
The Manufacturer’s Rep requires a proven sales history in the accessories or soft goods categories, great communication skills, occasional travel to retail accounts, excellent follow-through, and a desire to exceed customer expectations. We design and manufacture premium products that are sold primarily in outdoor and lifestyle retailers and are accepting applications for professional representation in all states. The Design Director establishes standards and best practices for the Design team. With guidance from the Merchants, the Design Director provides creative direction to identify color, material, design, and silhouette for seasonal assortments. In addition to managing the team, the Design Director takes an active role in designing products that embody the Company’s creative vision and meet customer needs for comfort, style, functionality, and protection from the elements.
The Sewer/Sample Maker contributes to product innovation by sewing high-quality prototype, fit, and production samples for all Sunday Afternoons brands. The Sewer/Sample Maker contributes to innovation ideas and assists as needed with fit and function.
