Women's Sport Hat

I own several of these hats, perfect for travel and the strong southwestern sun. The variety of colors offered ensures a good match for any clothing. The cotton sweat band at the front, which is white and picks up makeup from one's forehead) can easily be cleaned using a Shout wipe or with a little detergent on a washcloth. This hat is very durable, I've had several of mine for 5+ years. SA makes A+ products for sun protection.

Excellent for tennis. Shades face, ears, neck comfortably. Cool and does not interfere with peripheral vision. Stays on when running even in windy conditions.

I am famous on the tennis courts for this fabulous hat. When everyone else is wearing a visor, the top of my head is protected and cooled, the sides of my face and the back of my neck are covered also, and when it is a windy day on the court I use the chin strap.

I love this hat, I got one for myself and one for my mom, she has very bad sun sensitivity and skin lupus so she can't be in the sun. Everything about this hat is wonderful!!!!!!

I love it when golfing on hot days, no sweat problem. the hat is lightweight and air comes through mesh sides very well. Love the style/look while feeling secure knowing I am getting good facial protection from sun exposure.

Due to my sun allergy this hat allows me to go out an be covered for my entire face and neck. The wire on the brim came thru so i got in touch with the company and they are repairing it for me. Great company honors the warranty.

This is a great hat for playing tennis as it gives you coverage you need but not too much so you can still see the ball well. I only wish it came in a small but it does have adjustable strap to make the fitting better.

Finally, a brimmed hat that won't flop down over my line of vision (I'm a sun-sensitive hiker/birder). The back flap is an extra plus, as I have short hair. If it's not sunny and I get hot, I can tuck the flap up under the back. I love the vents, the slate blue color, and the fact that the hat is not tight. We're in Oregon; now I just need some sun!

My daughter-in-law likes to hike and needed a comfortable but attractive hat. When a neighbor suggested this one, I knew I had found it. We all like the way it looks and fits, and it made a great gift.

This smaller size hat reduces glare, cools my head, and protects my face and neck from the harsh sun when kayaking, hiking, and riding my bike. Love it.

I use this hat while walking and sailing. The draw string is effective in keeping it on my head while sailing. The wide brim is great for keeping the the sun off and staying cool. It is extremely light! This is my first Sunday Afternoons hat and I am very pleased with it.

Regular hats did not prevent pre-cancerous lesions so I opted for the real thing. The hat is comfortable, cool, and provides lots of shade. I really like the ponytail opening!

I've bought a total of 8 Sunday Afternoons hats so far. Four of them are this woman's sport hat - L size and Cream/sand color. I like them in many ways: 1. They protect perfectly from sun burn/damage in California; 2. The rear sizing tape adjusts to fit everybody in my family; 3. The style, size and color are all suitable for everyday outdoor activities for everybody in my family (my mom, myself and kids: a girl and a boy); 4. The rear neck veil perfectly covers our necks - not too short, not too long; 5. The wicking sweatband lets air in so we don't feel sweaty; 6. My elementary kids take them to school everyday in their backpacks for about 2 yrs and they are still in good shape; 7. They are easily cleaned by hand wash using a toothbrush with soap..... We've been really enjoying and appreciating these nice sunblock hats!

I purchased my sport hat to wear surf fishing. I haven't worn it yet doing that, but I wore it today at the pool and I love it! It's lightweight and well made and I can't wait to wear it to the beach.

I am a hat person and this is the best sun hat I own. The neck extension doesn't stick when I am covered in sweat and sunscreen. The brim cuts more glare from sun/water/sand than any other hat I've tried. Love the hat!

My friend Kacey and I wear our hats for water exercise at our local outdoor pool. The women's sport hat has good front and back coverage, is lightweight and dries quickly. It stays on well even on windy days. We give it five stars. Judy

Bought this hat for hiking and it is WONDERFUL. I also use it when I'm gardening. Fits great, adjusts easily and breathes so well I almost forget I'm wearing a hat! I like that a ponytail works well in this hat and that it is packable. Super great for rafting, almost impossible to lose! Nice when it's raining too.

I wear the sport hat to walk my dog and during all outdoor activities. Love that handy chinstrap. It is incredibly lightweight and -- special feature -- when you lounge in a high back chair, the back doesn't get in the way, unlike regular hat brims.

The hat brim size is perfect to use for golf, hiking, tennis, pickleball or just on a walk.

I have photosensitive lupus. I have to protect my skin from the sun. I bought this hat to wear on a trip to China. It was wonderful. It gave me great facial protection, was lightweight therefore not hot to wear and packed very well. It fit well too so I didn't have "hat hair" after wearing it. I really liked the chambray/charcoal color as it went well with khakis and denims. Thank you!

My Sunday Afternoons' Sport Hat is an essential piece of equipment, especially in the tropics. It protects me from the sun and glare, is lightweight, travels well, and has excellent ventilation in hot and humid weather conditions -- It's an overall great outdoor hat. It has traveled with me to India, Bhutan, Botswana, South Africa, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Panama, Peru, Costa Rica, Argentina, Mexico, and many states in the U.S. It will accompany me to Columbia, the Hawaiian Islands, and the Rio Grande Valley in 2012. My only negative is that the brim sports permanent creases over time, even when carefully packed.

I use hats whenever I leave my house, summer and winter. I am living in Israel, and the sun is always there waiting for me. For years I looked for hats which cover all the face and fit my head (which is larger then most Israeli women), and never found something that really fit and I could insert my long hair under also. Finally, I found such a hat on one of our visits outside and learned about this great company. On our first order we bought 3 hats for me and 3 more hats for the kids, and they are all great!!! They cover the face and neck, and my eyes don't suffer anymore from the sun!!! These hats are my angels. This specific hat style which I got in purple and lemon is the best for me, and fits excellent.

The sport hat is great for hiking! The brim is large enough to provide shade without blocking view of the trail and the string keeps it on my head when it is very windy. I do wish it was somehow a little cooler.

This hat is wonderful (I have three). I live in Florida and wear it whenever I step outside. It packs flat and the adjustable chin string keeps it from blowing off in the wind. I have recommended it to many people here in Florida.

I have worked for three years for an automobile rental company located at our local airport. This hat is my best investment. I drive anywhere from 40 to 60 cars a day and have to back them into parking spaces. I am able to see all around with no interference from my hat and when driving west in the late afternoon. I can also just tip my brim and the hat works better than any automobile sun visor too. We get a good wind from the ocean here and the adjustable strap keeps my hat firmly in place. I was so happy with the Adventure hat, that I purchased two Sport hats, and I'm glad I did! I compete in dog agility... the Sport Hat is by far the best hat for minimizing sun exposure AND still being able to see my dog through my peripheral vision (very necessary for a fast dog!) The hat stays put with the drawstring tightened, important when guiding my dog through the course. I've recommended this hat to everyone who asks about it. They are also very durable, even after many washings! Very, very pleased customer.

This is the best sun hat I have ever owned! I bring the chambray colored one on all my travels because it packs down to nothing and protects me from the elements. This is also the most comfortable hat I own because of its SOOO lightweight and you can size it just right to fit your head. It floats too, so I always take it on the river!

I am young and have very fair skin, and find this hat to be extremely lightweight and very wearable on all the hot and sunny days. It is so breathable that I can wear this all day without realizing it's on my head! I have worn this doing everything outside from long day hikes to full day sailing trips when I've been on vacation. My skin always stays protected and I lug this hat around everywhere because it's so easy to pack. Really great hat!!

After having a 3rd carcinoma removed from my face, my daughter-in-law sent me your Adventure Hat. It's great as it's light weight & the venting keeps it from being too warm. My Dermatologist said he has 3 of them for himself & family. I walk every AM and will use this every day.
