After being labeled by my doctor as "non-compliant" with issues concerning sun protection, I took the challenge and found this website and this hat. I love it. It's so light weight and cool as well as protective. I use it in the yard and when going to from and also during the time that I'm in my the car. no more burned ears!!!! I've modified with a clip to add more protection around the front of my neck.

I purchased this hat to make a full face shield. I am severely allergic to ultraviolet light and needed a hat with a neck guard as well. A few modifications and viola I had a device that looks similar to a bee-keepers get up. I love the fact that after the sun goes down I can unsnap all of the extras and have a cap to wear. This is a phenomenal hat for protecting you in every way.

I do the 3-Day, 60 mile walk in San Diego every year and I do a lot of training outdoors. This helps me protect my face from more melasma forming. It's great protection!

I just completed my 250 km run across the Sahara Desert in Morocco. I am happy to report that the Sunday Afternoons Convertible Cap served me well in the 125F temperatures and the incredible sand storms. I felt as cool as one can feel in those temperatures and well protected from the sand and the sun.
