I'd been looking for a sun protection hat for a while, and preferably one that was waterproof since I stand outside in the rain often. I've worn this hat now for about 2 weeks straight during outdoor events, and it's fantastic! Light and comfortable, breathes well, and kept my neck and face from burning. Water beads off it, and it doesn't look nearly as dorky as some of the other sun hats out there! I bought the "Sand" color thinking the lighter shade would reflect more sun versus black. The back of the hat doesn't droop down as much as the pictures show, at least on mine. I love the adjustable size strap, and the neck strap keeps it on your head during vehicle travel.

This has to be one of the best hats I've ever owned. Living in the Pacific Northwest, and visiting the coast quite often with my young family I really needed a waterproof hat that was truly waterproof. The Cloudburst is than, and more - not a drop of water makes it through its waterproof layer, I stay dry and warm for long periods of time, and its even UPF 50 for great sun protection. I love it and would recommend it to my family and friends!
