He wore this hat to an outdoor event that lasted 6 hours in the full sun and was completely comfortable and shielded from the sun. I have some serious skin issues and need a hat that provides excellent sun protection, this hat really does the job. When I have to spend long hours in the sun this hat stays cool, is lightweight, and doesn't irritate at the headband. Travels very well and takes up little space. It's an excellent value.

I wear this hat daily from early may through the end of September. I spend hours in the sun training dogs. This is a wonderful hat. I own three, so that I can keep them washed, and cycle through them. Comfortable is the word! My straw cowboy hats make me sweat at the band; this hat wicks the moisture away. When it is muggy and hot I simply dip it in the creek on the farm, and put it back on. Then I'm cool for several hours in the sun. This is a MUST HAVE; stylish (after one shapes the brim), comfortable, and cool in the hot sun.

This is my go to hat that I wear anytime I feel like I need some sun protection. I have used it hiking, rafting, at the beach, traveling, for golf, and just hanging out.

I like it because it pretty high-tech for a sun hat but still looks pretty good on.

The interior liner is wick-away and really comfortable. When it is really hot out sometimes I will soak the hat in whatever water happens to be around and the liner will hold moisture for a while and keep the hat really cool on my head.

This is probably my favorite hat made by Sunday Afternoons.
