Like: Works well to protect against sun
Dislike: The curtain should be a bit heavier to it won't flap in the wind. Visor is a bit short to protect against the sun hitting the nose and temple areas.

Being a lightweight backpacker, this cap has become an important part of my gear. I love how it can be dipped into a stream and worn to create a cooling effect on the head when hiking in hot weather. Excellent sun protection, too. Thanks for designing a great product with a modular style.

Almost perfect. Had to add on snap at the back to better secure the side shields. A dark green underside would be helpful too. I like the shorter visor because it helps seeing your flyline while fly fishing. The side curtains help block side glair and when snapped together it helps keep the hat on when you run the flats in a boat along with the adjustable cord at the hat band. My only hat for fishing now in the Florida sun.

This is a 4 star hat. The problem is, the 3 1/4" bill is too short to keep the sun off your nose...a VERY easily burned part of the body. Lengthening the bill another 1-2" would make it unbeatable and a 5 star plus.
